Overview
Huntsville Well Drillers (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates huntsvillewelldrillers.com, a Madison County lead-generation service that connects homeowners and landowners in Madison County, Alabama with vetted, independently licensed local well drillers. This policy applies to all information collected through our website, our quote-request forms, and any related communication channels (email, phone, SMS, or otherwise) initiated by you or by us in response to your request.
We are not a well drilling company. We do not perform drilling, install pumps, or hold a well driller's license. We route qualified homeowner requests to local contractors who are independently licensed under Alabama Code §22-24-5 and who carry their own insurance.
Huntsville Well Drillers is the flagship local network of Alabama Well Pros, a statewide lead-generation brand. Both properties are operated by the same team, and the privacy practices described here apply uniformly to both. The statewide site exists to give Alabama homeowners outside our current service area a way to find a vetted network in their region; the local site exists to convert that interest into qualified leads for our local network of Madison County contractors.
Plain English summary: You give us your info so we can connect you with a local Madison County well driller. We share it with one vetted local contractor (or, in rare cases where capacity is constrained, two) so they can call you back. We don't sell your data. We don't spam you.
§ 02
What data we collect
We collect only the information we need to connect you with a vetted local well driller. Specifically:
- Contact information — your name, phone number, email address.
- Location information — your ZIP code and, optionally, the city or community within Madison County where the well project is located (Huntsville, Madison, New Market, Hazel Green, Meridianville, Gurley, Owens Cross Roads, New Hope, Triana, Toney, Harvest, Brownsboro). We do not collect your full street address unless you provide it as part of a project description.
- Project details — what kind of well work you need (new well, pump replacement, water testing, treatment, repair, etc.), any details you choose to share about the property, and any constraints you mention (timeline, budget, water-quality concerns).
- Communication records — if you call or email us, we keep a record of the conversation so we can serve you better and maintain service quality.
- Technical data — when you visit our site, we automatically receive standard log data (IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited) through privacy-respecting analytics. See the Cookies & tracking section below.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or precise geolocation data.
§ 03
How we use your data
We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
- To match you with a vetted Madison County well driller. Your ZIP and project details determine which local contractor in our network reaches out. Most leads go to a single contractor; in rare cases (e.g., your ZIP sits on a county boundary, or a contractor is at capacity) we may route to a second vetted local contractor.
- To contact you about your specific project. A local driller (or our routing team) will call, email, or text you about the project you submitted. We do not contact you about unrelated offers.
- To improve our service. Aggregate, de-identified data may be used to understand which communities need additional local network coverage, which project types are most common, and where we can improve the matching experience.
- To comply with the law. Where required, we retain records to satisfy legal, regulatory, or tax obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising retargeting across other websites, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
§ 04
Who we share it with
We share your information only with parties necessary to deliver the service you requested:
- Vetted local well drilling contractors. Your project details are shared with one or more independently licensed, insured local well drillers operating in Madison County. Our current Madison County network typically serves new well drilling, pump replacement, well repair, water testing, and water treatment projects anywhere in the county — from the urban core of Huntsville and Madison to the rural communities of New Market, Hazel Green, Meridianville, Gurley, Owens Cross Roads, New Hope, Triana, Toney, Harvest, and Brownsboro.
- Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate the site, host forms, send transactional emails, and analyze site usage. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal authorities. If we receive a valid subpoena, court order, or comparable legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or comply with applicable law, we may share information with law enforcement or regulators.
- Business transfers. If Huntsville Well Drillers is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same protections in this policy.
When your project is routed to a Madison County contractor, that contractor becomes an independent data controller for the lead they receive. Their own privacy practices govern their use of your information thereafter. We require our local network partners to maintain commercially reasonable privacy and security practices, but we are not responsible for their independent actions once the lead is delivered.
§ 05
TCPA & communications compliance
We respect the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), and applicable Alabama consumer-protection statutes. Specifically:
- Express written consent. When you submit a quote request that includes your phone number, you are giving express written consent (within the meaning of 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200(f)(9)) for the matched local well driller to contact you using an autodialer or prerecorded voice, but only in connection with the specific project you submitted. This consent is not a blanket consent for unrelated marketing.
- Scope of contact. The local driller (or our routing team) will contact you only about the project you described — typically to schedule a site visit, confirm details, or provide a quote. You will not receive unrelated promotional calls or texts as a result of submitting a quote request.
- Opt-out. You can opt out at any time, for any reason. Reply STOP to any text message, say "stop calling" during a phone call, or email us at hello@huntsvillewelldrillers.com. We will honor your opt-out promptly and confirm it in writing.
- Do Not Call. We honor national and Alabama-specific Do Not Call registries. Being on the DNC list does not prevent a contractor from contacting you about a project you initiated, but we will still respect any explicit opt-out request.
- Hours of contact. We and our local partners restrict phone contact to reasonable hours (typically 8 AM to 8 PM Central time, per applicable TSR guidance), except in genuine emergencies.
By submitting a quote request, you acknowledge and agree to the communications described above. Standard message and data rates may apply for any SMS correspondence.
§ 06
Cookies & tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies, focused on making the site work and understanding aggregate usage:
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function (e.g., remembering a form submission state). These cannot be disabled.
- Privacy-respecting analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics provider (e.g., a self-hosted or cookieless equivalent of Plausible/Umami). We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising trackers. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
- No third-party advertising. We do not embed advertising network scripts. We do not allow third-party ad networks to set cookies through our site.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, and the site will continue to function for browsing and lead submission.

Data retention
We keep your information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice:
- Active leads are retained while the matching and quoting process is ongoing (typically 30–90 days).
- Closed or completed leads may be retained for up to 24 months for service-quality, warranty, and audit purposes.
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely, as it no longer identifies you.
- Records required for legal or tax compliance (for example, contractor payments) are retained for the period required by applicable Alabama and federal law.
You may request deletion of your information at any time — see the Your rights section below.
§ 08
Your rights & Alabama consumer protection
You have the right to control your personal information. Specifically, you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations.
- Opt out of communications at any time (see TCPA section).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@huntsvillewelldrillers.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests to prevent fraud.
Alabama-specific consumer protection
Alabama homeowners are protected by the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act (AL Code §8-19-1 et seq.), which prohibits unfair, deceptive, or unconscionable acts in trade or commerce. If you believe a local contractor we referred has engaged in a deceptive trade practice, you may file a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General's Office at alabamaag.gov or by phone at 1-800-392-5658.
For well-drilling-specific concerns (unlicensed activity, code violations, water-quality issues), the appropriate authorities are:
- ADEM (Alabama Department of Environmental Management) — well permitting, water quality, well driller licensing complaints.
- ADPH (Alabama Department of Public Health) — drinking water safety and county health department coordination.

Huntsville Well Drillers is not a party to the contract between you and your local well driller, but we take all complaints about contractors in our network seriously. Email us if a contractor we referred did not meet the standards we publish, and we will review their standing in the network.
§ 09
How we protect your data
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you submit. These include:
- HTTPS encryption for all data submitted through our website forms.
- Restricted access to lead data on a need-to-know basis.
- Vendor selection criteria that prioritize security and privacy.
- Periodic review of access logs and security posture.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law, including the Alabama Data Breach Notification Act (AL Code §8-38-1 et seq.) where applicable.

Children's privacy
Our service is intended for adults seeking well drilling services for their property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our service area, or applicable law. When we do, we will:

- For material changes, provide a more prominent notice (e.g., a banner on the homepage) for a reasonable period before the change takes effect.
